Search is working with one of the leading engineering and construction companies in the UK, a contractor with a strong track record on delivery in a wide range of industries, including commercial, industrial, education, rail infrastructure and depots, airports, waste and energy.

An opportunity exists for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join the business in Moray-shire in the North of Scotland.

The role will be part of the project team responsible for the delivery of £65m of works comprising of major civil engineering, earthworks, surfacing and structures under NEC conditions.

To be considered you will need to demonstrate prior experience in the delivery of large high value projects in the project surveyor capacity, experience working within main contracting is essential as is sound knowledge of civil engineering work packages and NEC3

Ideally you will live within commuting distance of the project and have knowledge of the local geography and sub contractor market however candidates who are willing to relocate can be considered.

With a works programme of over 2 years this position can be offered on a permanent, fixed term or freelance basis to suit the right candidate, the business has a strong UK and international presence so can offer ongoing career opportunities at home and abroad.

Salary is circa £45K - £55K + Car / Car Allowance + Benefits on an employed basis with freelance rates negotiable for the right candidate.
