The team
We have been working to a standard business process for delivering projects for some time. The Project Management Office was set up as a natural progression of that process, to ensure that projects continue to be delivered in a consistent manner.

The PMO is now responsible for the management and delivery of all projects within the business.

The opportunity

  • To manage and/or co-ordinate the delivery of projects to completion, in accordance with an approved project delivery methodology
  • Communicate project objectives to all team members involved
  • Provide cover for the Head of PMO as required
  • Troubleshoot problems that come up during projects
  • Develop individual project plans complete with budgetary information and resource needs, and
  • Communicate with relevant departments about resource allocation
  • Works closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).
  • Review project budget as needed to ensure timeliness and fiscal responsibility
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
  • Keep accurate and detailed meeting notes

Who we are looking for

  • Prince2 2017 Practitioner or equivalent qualification

  • At least five years related experience in project management, planning, and tracking
  • Experience working with business stakeholders in related industries
  • Experience with and understanding of full project or product lifecycle
  • Proficiency with project management tools and related technology
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership, drive results, solve problems, and possess interpersonal skills from prior work situations

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to take complex requirements and communicate them in a simple and logical way to various levels of user.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Personable, persuasive, practical and persistent.
  • Ability to pull together various resources to achieve a mutually beneficial outcome.
  • Ability to structure requirements in line with project delivery requirements.
  • Ability to handle the competing requirements of different stakeholders and work collectively.
