Job purpose
Reporting to the Head of Planning, Performance and Change, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering a portfolio of projects and initiative's. Working closely with the Regulatory development and operational teams, the post holder will play a key part in delivering the directorates' operational plan via the delivery of its strategic projects.

Main responsibilities
To manage the successful delivery of assigned projects on time and to budget to ensure effective project management is delivered throughout the various stages of project cycles.
To produce, monitor and update project plans, project initiation documents, board papers and other project documentation.
To successfully identify and manage project risks and issues through effective analysis, mitigation and contingency planning. Ensuring the development of appropriate risk logs, which include actions required to mitigate risks and the risk owners.
To work closely with colleagues to plan operational activities (including training) following project implementation.
To establish clear and effective communication channels for all stakeholders and stakeholder groups, utilising in-house expertise and providing regular updates on actions, issues and progress.
