This is an opportunity to join a challenging yet exciting opportunity on the LocatED contract, The LocatED contract is a government-owned property company creating much-needed school places for thousands of children and an efficient education estate
As a Project Manager you will be working predominantly out of Watford, there will however be some travel and overnight stays required. There is currently a team of some 20 people working on the Project, Your role to effectively manage this team to ensure that the Client receives the service delivery that they expect.
* This is a fast-moving environment with properties coming in and leaving the account on a monthly basis.
* The Ideal candidate will have some property management experience as the role is not just a traditional Facilities Management job.
* You will ensure 100% Statutory Compliance of the estate the role also involves working out potential "Gain share" opportunities.
* The role also requires the administration of working processes, planned and reactive maintenance regimes, health and safety management and support to the Account commercial team.
To be successful the ideal candidate will have the following experience:
Experience managing a large property portfolio, specifically within educations or local government would be preferential
Must has IOSH and / or SMSTS
