The residential sector is currently the main driving force within the Yorkshire region and it is supporting a wide range of contractors - including the civil engineers who are responsible for site preparation, installation of roads and sewers, hard landscaping, damp proofing, installing foundations, etc…
One such civil engineering contractor has been engaged on a new housing site in the Bradford area. They have the gangs to do the work but are in need of a Project Manager to coordinate site activities against programme, ensure the overall safety on site, liaise with the client, and report back to head office. The scheme will include all works to DPC and will involve both Section 38 and Section 278 agreements.
To be considered for the role of Project Manager you should be able to demonstrate a progressive career working for civil engineering contractors on similar sites before. You should be able to answer any technical queries on site and take responsibility for the overall programme. There will be a Site Agent / Senior Engineer on site to manage the say to day operations but you will still be expected to split your time between the site and the cabins.
Tickets required are: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, NRSWA Supervisor
