Due to product demand during these unprecedented times, the client we are working with has recently added a production facility to their site in Perth. As a result, they are seeking a Production Supervisor or experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join the team. This new role comes with a rate of £11 to £13 an hour.

Previous production supervisor experience and experience, specifically in similar warehouse supervisor jobs, is necessary. You will not just be delegating, though - you will need to be hands-on and "muck in" as and when required to help and build out your collaborative and inclusive team.

This Production Supervisor job will suit a self-motivated and forward-thinking individual. If you were already in-role, this is what you would have been doing over the past week:

  • Managing the training and development of new starters and all the on boarding
  • Managing the flow and direction of production on the shop floor
  • Delegating and handling job loads as they come in, prioritising according to your expert judgement and experience
  • Providing feedback via meetings, with the production manager to help improve processes and personnel.
  • FLT licence is advantageous

In general, you will ensure standard procedures are being adhered too, whilst producing quality goods in a timely fashion. You will also ensure that high levels of hygiene and health & safety are maintained at all times. The production job is also about building collaborative working relationships and creating a fantastic team spirit, encouraging colleagues to be the best they can be.

To apply for this role, you will need previous production operative experience, ideally in a supervisory role, as you will be overseeing and supporting a team of between 4 and 8 staff.

This is a permanent position within the company with an initial 12-week probationary period. The standard working hours are between 7 am and 5 pm, weekdays.
