Production Operator, East Kilbride, £20,000 to £23,000 per annum dependant on experience + 10% flexibility allowance

We are recruiting for a Production Operator to work at our client's site in East Kilbride.

What to expect as a Production Operator

  • Monday to Thursday working 6am till 4pm however may move to an early shift / back shift so some flexibility required
  • Working in an Adhesive Coating, Mixing and Quality Assurance environment
  • Operation of machinery including coater machine, mixing equipment and quality assurance testing apparatus
  • Working to specific job specifications and work instruction
  • Loading and unloading materials to and from machinery using mechanical handling equipment
  • Setting up machinery as directed through work instruction
  • Provide 100% quality inspection during production process
  • Preparing mixes; mix handling to be used for specific jobs
  • Accurate data entry and recording of production and quality assurance data
  • Operation of forklift trucks (training can be provided)
  • Carry out testing on samples and reporting all relevant testing results
  • Completion of paperwork and relevant documentation
  • General housekeeping duties
  • All other production duties as required
