Production Coordinator

Search Consultancy are proudly working in partnerships with a large timber manufacturing company based in East Fife. This is a full time, permanent role for a highly proactive individual and offers excellent development within your career.

The Role:

  • Planning and scheduling of all product lines
  • Maintaining agreed levels of inventory
  • Coordination of production work flow
  • Maximising performance of product picking
  • Enhancing customer service level with demand
  • Understanding manpower in line with demand
  • Organising schedule planner
  • Collaborating with production team to discuss productivity
  • Review orders ensuring timely completion
  • Delivering status metrics assisting with decision making
  • Assisting sales team with lead time information

About You:

  • High level of communication skills
  • Experience delivering to internal and external customers
  • Ability to utilise initiative when problem solving
  • Working in a time orientated environment to achieve objectives
  • Understanding and experience of MRP/ERP software systems
  • Computer literate

You will have a large understanding of operational procedures, quality systems and creating and adhering to SOPs. This role will require ongoing improvements and will suit someone that has experience of driving change using LEAN methods.
