Product Manager - Shoreditch, London - 2 Month Contract- £50ph PAYE

The Opportunity

If you're a Product Manager and have a passion for taking the lead in designing, software development, cloud services and automation, then my client has a position for you as Product Manager in their Holborn, London office. You will be paid £50 per hour during the tenure of this job which is for 2 months. You can work remotely and flexibly, especially under the current circumstances. Your health and wellbeing will always be a key consideration.

The Product Manager will lead the product development of a public-facing digital service from alpha to live working with international public sector customers in local and central governments. You will work with a team consisting of developers, software development manager, user researcher, delivery manager and a principal product manager.

You will be required to take overall responsibility for the product backlog. Using various techniques for backlog prioritisation to meet the needs of users and business targets, you may be required to travel to user research sessions and this may include international travel.

What you'll need

The Product Manager is expected to have experience in handling public sector agile projects. This would require having advanced skills in information technology for creating, maintaining, prioritising and delivering a product backlog and road map to direct the work of the team. Demonstrated experience in meeting UK Government's Digital Service Standards and delivering open source projects on public cloud apart from others would be important criteria in deciding the right candidate for this job.

If you have experience in local or central government projects, international public sector experience outside of the UK and the confidence to take ownership of issues and resolving problems, you may be the person suited for this job.
