A highly-rated UK law firm is seeking an experienced Principal Associate to join their Casualty team in Glasgow.

The successful individual will specialise in acting on behalf of insurers, insureds and local authorities and protecting their interests. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of cases including defending high value, complex personal injury claims. The bulk of the work will involve managing pre litigated and litigated disease claims.

Key desirable skills:

• Scottish qualified with, ideally, 5+ years experience
• Experience of defending litigated claims, preferably involving disease experience
• Ability to work to strict deadlines, tight timetables, targets and client protocols while maintaining high standards in terms of accuracy and quality
• Commercially aware
• Passionate about growth, generating work opportunities both internally and externally
