Do you have experience as a Personal Advisor, with expertise in young adults and social care? Search Health and Social Care are currently looking for a Childcare Personal Advisor to join an expanding team in the Darlington area. The position is on a contract basis starting as soon as possible and lasting until December 2020, subject to review. It comes with a salary of £14.20 per hour.

As a Personal Advisor, you will provide appropriate assessment of needs for young people who are preparing to leave care and the development of an effective Pathway Plan to help meet these needs. You will also provide a 'flexible' service, outside regular hours where necessary, to help achieve the objectives of the department. You will also fulfil all aspects of Children Leaving Care Act (2000).

In this incredibly important and valued health and social care job, you will deliver high quality and comprehensive advice to young people in line with regulatory and statutory guidelines.

The ideal Childcare Personal Advisor will have:
* A minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
* 2 years experience of direct work with adolescents
* A driving license and vehicle (unless a disability prevents you from satisfying this requirement)
