Finance and Payroll Officer // Bury // Temp to perm // ££Competitive Salary
We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Payroll and Finance Officer to join a highly successful and award winning manufacturing business in the Bury area.
This role would suit an experience payroller with some exposure to additional accounts-related tasks who wishes to carry out a variety of other interesting duties alongside the payroll aspect of their role.
The role will involve:
Managing a sizeable weekly payroll
Resolving any payroll related queries
Payroll journals and year - end
Maintaining the system in relation to sales pricing
Dealing with price queries
Producing sales invoices
Oversee staff sales and related invoicing & banking
VAT and intrastat returns
Monthly and quarterly reporting
Assist the team with other ad hoc duties
Solid payroll experience is essential
Confident user of Excel and systems in general
A positive, enthusiastic attitude
Willing and able to provide suggestions regarding process improvement
