A great opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to be part of a highly successful business based in Manchester.
Due to internal changes in the business a Payroll Administrator is required to join the payroll department.
The objective of the Payroll Administrator is to assist with running an efficient and effective payroll service, ensuring all employees and temporary workers are provided with accurate information at all times and maintaining an up to date knowledge of payroll best practice.
The key responsibilities will involve processing weekly payrolls, chasing timesheets, ensuring all weekly data is collected and entered accurately. The role will also involve calculating and administrating statutory payments as well as providing advice and guidance to colleagues on matters relating to pay, taxation and national insurance.
The successful candidate will require experience in a high volume, complex weekly and monthly pay environment; have a strong team work ethic, confident when dealing with people and posses a solid working knowledge of statutory and legal requirements as they apply to payroll requirements.
