Pastry Sous Chef - Stunning Venue - Horsham - £30,000 pa
We are currently looking for an exceptional Pastry Sous Chef for this multi rosette, multi outlet site.
The ideal candidate will come from a similar background with exposure to a variety of cooking styles and a progressive work history, 2AA Rosette experience is definitely preferred but not essential - although you must be able to demonstrate outstanding pastry skill.
Along side the two and three rosette restaurant, there is wedding and events, afternoon teas and private dining, plus a boutique country house hotel and spa; so you need to be on the ball and have a flexible attitude. Working along side the Head Pastry Chef you must have the ability to train, coach enthuse and develop your team whilst maintaining the highest standards
You will be involved in the development of new dishes and menus, so will have creative flair and an eye for detail. Responsible for the smooth day to day running of the kitchen you will be resourceful and approachable.
You MUST ensure food and hygiene standards are kept high. HACCP and COSHH requirements must also be met.
Working 5 days out of 7, the position is paying up to £30,000 per annum plus an excellent company incentive and benefit scheme.
