A fantastic opportunity for a part-time receptionist to join a friendly and hardworking team in Abingdon, Oxfordshire on a Fixed-Term contract. This role will be working on a client's site and be the face and ambassador of the client so being presentable and personable is essential.
The hours for this position will be 8.00am to 1.00pm, Monday to Friday with the occasional requirement to work later when required and key duties include:
To provide a comprehensive and flexible front of house administration service to the premises.
Maintain a tidy Reception Area
Meet and greet visitors and speculative callers
First point of contact for 2 companies
Maintain a tidy kitchen, empty dishwasher and replenish coffee machine, etc
Responsible for dealing with incoming and outgoing post
Arrange couriers
Ensure Franking Machine is fully operational
Vet incoming telephone calls, take and pass on messages
Arrange Taxis for clients and visitors
Ensure all visitors sign-in, provide inductions of contractors working on site
Focal point for facilities management related issues, eg, alarm, air conditioning, cleaning, handyman
Inform Office Manager of any office-related issues, including H&S and FM
Ensure paperwork files are kept up to date, eg, delivery receipts
Monitor stationery and kitchen supplies - advise admin team when a re-order is necessary
Liaise with Hobs for external printing requirements, binding, etc
Photocopying, collating and binding as requested
Administer the Meeting Room calendar
Monitor cleanliness of meetings rooms to ensure they are fit for purpose
Keep telephone lists updated
Ad hoc subcontractor's administration
Assist admin staff with any other general administration duties, as requested

In order be considered for this position, you will have:
A good basic education is essential with minimum of four GCSEs
Good IT skills with working knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in a similar role
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Able to work alone on own initiative
Excellent telephone manner
Ability to prioritise tasks
Adaptable and flexible in approach to work required
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Results / Tasks oriented
Committed to the delivery of excellence of customer service
Reliable with smart appearance
Be able to respond immediately
