HR Advisor (Employee Relations) x2 - Stevenage - 6 month FTC - Part Time
Our client is looking for a an experienced and CIPD qualified HR Advisor or ER Advisor to join them on an initial 6 month period to help them with employee relations cases.
Working as part of a large and busy team and reporting through to the HR manager, you will take responsibility for employee relations cases across a number of different business units and areas.
You'll be supporting managers through the process in relation to disciplinaries, grievances, sickness/absence, performance management and conduct. This could include serious and sensitive issues as well as complex cases. You may also get involved in the early stages of any ET claims.
It is expected that you'll be supporting managers via telephone, email and also occasionally face to face, depending on the type and nature of the issues as well as other factors such as capability of the manager and workload/diary commitments. You'll need to be flexible in your approach and have a fantastic communication style to help managers feel supported. You'll need to be able to pick up process, policy and procedure quickly in order to support managers swiftly and you'll need an excellent understand of currently employment law and ACAS regulations.
As such we are seeking candidates who are CIPD level 5 qualified or above.
You'll be pro-active and able to work at pace but at the same time retain attention to detail and always a fair and consistent approach. Our client is looking for someone full time or part time and the role can start ASAP for at least 6 months - there is a strong chance the role will extend beyond this or may go permanent. For time part time they can be flexible on days/hours but are aiming for around 20-22 hours.
