About this role

A niche English and international family law firm based in Central London is looking to fill a Paralegal position. This is a great opportunity to work in a friendly and professional law firm with opportunities for career progression. Please note, to be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 1 year's experience in fee earning within family law.

SQE/Training contract opportunities available for the right candidate.

* Family law fee earner experience essential (minimum of 1 year)
* A law graduate with a 1st or 2:1 university degree or completed their GDL with commendation or higher
* Possesses excellent written skills as well as excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Good at working under pressure in the face of competing demands and external deadlines
* Capable to work with minimal supervision
* Team player
* Has knowledge of data protection legislation and IT

Duties include but not limited to:

* Providing legal support and work closely with solicitors to progress a complex caseload
* Manage and support all aspects of case preparation
* Management from commencement of proceedings through to final hearing
* Ensuring strict adherence to legal deadlines
* Organise large volumes of material, identify missing documents
* Prioritise tasks and effectively communicate/share intelligence gathered with interested parties
* Conducting legal research
* Arranging and attending case conferences
* Attending Court
* Switchboard and Client Greeting
* Bookings & Diary Management
* Post management
* Conference Room Management

Job Type: Full-time on site
(Tue, Wed, and Thu in office)

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 pa dependant on experience
