Search Consultancy is working with a fantastic company to find a Packaging Planner for their Fife operation. The company is a major player within the food production sector and places a massive emphasis on quality and growth.
About the Job
As Packaging Planner, you will be working as part of a team in order to ensure a smooth and continued supply of stock throughout the company and to external customers. The Packaging Planner job involves ensuring all production demand requirements are supported, whilst maintaining accurate stock levels through effective supplier management, stock control and stock issuing procedures.
Key Elements of the Job
In this Packaging Planner job, you'll be expected to;
Work with other departments such as Technical, Operations and NPD on key projects
Keep track of, and find ways to reduce, wastage
Manage seasonal stock levels
Placing purchase orders
You should be a highly organised person who can integrate well into a team. You should have exceptional communication skills to perform this role effectively. This is a fast paced role so you'll need the ability to keep track of multiple tasks in order to perform well in a high pressure environment.
Previous experience within Packaging, Planning and Procurement & Supply Chain roles would be advantage in this job.
