Vendor and Central Purchasing Support Assistant - Up to £23,000 - Manchester

Working exclusively with Search, this innovative and forward thinking organisation is seeking a Vendor and Central Purchasing Support Assistant join their team. Due to extensive growth within this Shared Service Centre they have fantastic opportunities available for talented Finance Professionals within their P2P teams.

The role is within the Procure to Pay team, with your time split between Central Purchasing and Vendor Support. As the role is split between two areas there will be great opportunities to develop knowledge and understanding.

Your key accountabilities will include

  • Accurate and timely processing of shopping cart requests and goods receipts in SAP
  • Supporting the business with purchase order queries
  • Supporting vendors with queries about their account
  • Working cohesively with a large accounts payable department
  • Providing guidance for stakeholders on the goods not for resale process either over skype or in person
  • Preparing and distributing reports to stakeholders

Your skills and experience will include

* Experience/Understanding of P2P/Accounts Payable processes
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Microsoft package literate - with excel skills
* Knowledge of SAP
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work within a fast paced environment to specified deadlines
