In this Ops Team Manager role, you will be responsible for the attainment and maintenance of the financial performance of your team and the service delivery requirements of customers. You will plan and control workloads for maximum efficiency, working with team members to develop their capability. You will motivate a team removing, overcoming or presenting solutions to any obstacles that have an adverse effect on operational performance.
In this varied and exciting Service Delivery Manager role, every day will be different, and the ability to adapt to changing situations is an essential aspect of the job.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues to collectively deliver the company business strategy. Primary duties include:
● Undertaking management duties and operational tasks in accordance with the direction from the Service Delivery Manager
● Leading your team members with the operational management of cases to plan, coordinate and monitor implementation of rehabilitation programmes.
● Operating HR functions for the Case Management & PA team (holidays, sickness, payroll, etc.).
● Preparing regular reports and updates for the Service Delivery Manager
The Operations Team Manager role involves managing a team of people, so leadership skills are central to this job. You will also need a sound knowledge of the Rehabilitation Code 2015, the CMSUK Standards of Practice, the VRA Standards of Practice and any other relevant standards that may be introduced to the rehabilitation market. Previous Ops team management experience is essential.
