Job Description: Office and Admin Assistant
Primary Job Functions:
Our client, based in West Calder, are currently looking for an Office and Admin Assistant for their busy, small family run business. This in an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join them at a time of growth and expansion within the business.
Job specification:
* Answering queries by telephone, post and email.

* Updating and managing the companies social media accounts

* Filing paperwork regarding company operations

* Some element of outbound business to business sales calls

* Updating spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel

Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge and experience of working in an admin role previously. You will be IT literate and have a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. You will also be organised, accurate, self motivated and comfortable working on your own initiative. A general understanding or background in a role working with animals would be an advantage but is not essential. Due to the location the successful candidate would require a full UK driving licence and their own transport.

Salaries and Benefits:
Salary up to £18,300 based on 32 hours per week
Hours are 32 per week however 37.5 may be considered for the right candidate.
Flexible working hours
Previous experience in an administration role is essential.
