Search Consultancy Ltd is currently looking for Occupational Therapists for a couple of roles for local councils within the Greater Manchester area. These position are on a contract basis starting as soon as possible for at least 6 months.

Salary: between £17 and £25 an hour depending on experience

Experienced Community Occupational Therapist required to join a busy Locality based team in. You will be working alongside Occupational Therapists and an OT Assistant, Social Workers, Support Planners and Care Navigators. You will also be based with District Nurses and a Community Physiotherapist. We are looking for an experienced practitioner, who has assessed for and provided equipment, minor and complex adaptations to adult service users with a range of disabilities, including learning disability, mental health and physical disability. The work is varied and fast paced.

This Role also includes moving and handling. Supervision will be provided by an Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist. Training will be provided to ensure competency in moving and handling.
