Nursing Home Manager Role
RGN/RMN Qualified
Lytham St Anne's, Blackpool
up to £42,000

We are looking to recruit a Nursing Home Manager on behalf of a small 25 bedded elderly nursing home in Lytham.
It will be your job to take charge of the day to day running and clinical management of the nursing home.
We are looking for a strong leader to manage the well established staff team and provide sound leadership to ensure that all staff are clear about their roles/duties and perform them safely.

We are looking for an RGN/RMN Qualified Nursing Home Manager, or experienced Deputy looking to take the next step up.
The small Home provides general nursing care to 25 elderly residents and nursing shifts will be a part of your working week within this small Home.

Day-to-day management of the home:
Manage effectively and responsibly the day to day running of the home and to act as the person in charge.
Manage the effective recruitment, induction and training of the staff and identify ongoing training needs for staff.
Manage staff absenteeism, sickness, disciplinary and grievance matters, conduct staff supervision/appraisals
Provide on call cover
Investigate complaints in accordance with CQC Guidelines, Nursing Home Policy and Procedure and take appropriate action
Liaise and co-operate with CQC inspectors and inspections
Work nursing shifts as and when required by the home

Person Specification:
Essential: Registered Nurse with current RGN NMC Pin No.
Extensive experience in care of the elderly
Previous experience at Deputy and or Manager level
Computer literate
Maintain confidentiality all matters arising with staff and service users
Evidence of continuing professional development
Be approachable to staff, service users, relatives and Owners
Willingness to work flexibly


This is a full time, permanent position and the salary is negotiable on experience, circa £42,000 per annum..
