A top-tier and well known Legal 500 law firm is looking for a newly qualified lawyer to join their Property and Infrastructure Disputes practice group. The role can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow.

This opportunity will be to specialise in both property litigation and contentious construction work. The role will include advising contractors, consultants and employers throughout the UK on issues relating to construction and engineering contracts, including disputes about variations to contract works, termination, notices, payment provisions, extensions of time, additional costs, defects, breach of contract claims and professional negligence. The successful applicant can expect to carry out case investigation and preparation, draft written pleadings, advise on and negotiate settlements and appear in court, and advise clients in adjudications, mediations and arbitrations.

The firm offers very competitive salaries and operates a discretionary staff bonus scheme. Salary is commensurate with PQE experience. The firm also offers a minimum of 26 days annual leave and six days public holiday, as well as the opportunity to buy or sell further holiday days.
