Directs activities required by the projects and distributes activities to team members.
To assist the Technical Manager in the maintaining and continuous improvement of the existing BRC, ISO9001 and FSSC systems
To create samples and accurate finished product specifications for all products on site including generation ingredient declarations and nutritional data.
Developing new products taking in to account cost, market trends, microbiological hazards, customer profile, and ease of processing, travel, packaging and testing.
To complete feasibility and handover documents in a timely and accurate manner.
To co-ordinate with production and other team members to obtain samples and other essential information for the specifications.
Bachelor of Science Degree in a food related field- Food Science, Food Technology, Food and Nutrition, Product Development, Food Processing, Sensory Science
Experience in product development, can demonstrate managing complex development projects and has been involved in end to end delivery. From recipe formulation design to factory scale up and implementation.
Experience in specification writing is essential
