National Account Manager

Rewards:
£40k Salary + competitive OTE + car or car allowance

The Company:
Our client is a Market leading waste management business who is looking to appoint a business development professional to join the vibrant and enthusiastic sales team. The role will be focusing on the development of existing business with a view of creating a long term solution for you clients to ensure repeat business on contract basis. Based from home working on a national basis the ideal candidate will be expected to liaise and manage accounts on a countrywide basis and build relationships with clients to further your employers offering in waste sector.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate for the position will be expected to be pro-active in finding the right solutions and ensuring retained business from lapsed and new accounts which will ensure business targets are met. Focus on developing multi-model bespoke waste solutions in order to fulfil client's needs. Manage and achieve the client appointments you have arranged and successfully convert these into revenue growing opportunities. You will be expected to closely work on the pipeline you have self-generated along with ensuring relationships are maintained and annual revenue targets are met.

Person specification:
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years waste experience and ideally have a proven track record of generating new sources of revenue. You must also have excellent communication skills with both written and verbal with the ability to demonstrate great attention to detail. There will be times you will be expected to work under pressure in order to meet targets and this must be something the successful candidate must be able to embrace. Excellent IT skills to include Microsoft office and also be able to come across as an enthusiastic approachable business developer in face of potential new clients.
