A market leading business in commercial building maintenance and Facilities Management services is looking to recruit a talented Key Account Manager/National Account Manager to cover the UK market with immediate effect, due to continued success and on going expansion plans. Ideal candidates will be based in the Midlands.
This business are trailblazing their way through the current economic climate by continuing to promote their genuinely unique selling points and offer clients access to skilled maintenance support and services despite the commercial impact of Covid19. As a business they have had genuine year on year growth, and have seen the commercial team retain all staff over the last 5 years. Their plans are to increase the size of the commercial team due to over achieving against sales targets across 2020 and so far in 2021. Their success in the commercial team has seen their headcount budget grow by hopefully filling this role in their Account Management team and also a further new role in their New Business Development team - which works closely with the Account Management department in terms of sharing information and networking. This business are massively on the up with a strategic plan to continue on this trajectory!!
Their client base is a genuine 'who's who' from leading high street grocery chains to the main banks and building societies up and down the country. They also have a lucrative contract with a major television broadcaster across the UK. Their services range from soft FM support such as cleaning and building maintenance to electrical testing and truck mounted equipment for working at height. The ideal candidate is someone who has ideally sold services into businesses, with a preference for an FM related services (however this is not essential). The main requirement is to be a natural business developer and relationship builder, someone who is constantly seeking out new and better opportunities to do business with existing clients. You will ideally have some good experience developing relationships with procurement teams, facilities management teams, health and safety teams, estates managers, and board level decision makers.
You will be motivated by success - both financially and through rewards within the business as you develop. You will have a stable career history and a demonstrable track record of success and be a strong rapport builder. For the ideal candidate my client will pay a base salary of 38-45k plus a realistic OTE of at least £25, 000 plus a car package of circa £6, 000 and benefits.
