You will be working for a leading facilities management company who specialise in a wide range of services. They manage and maintain various national landmarks, high street buildings, government sites, hospitals and banks.
Your new role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for undertaking various planned and reactive maintenance tasks and occasional new minor installation work. The successful candidate will work as part of the FM and Engineering team, with responsibility for maintaining electrical plant, fabric and plumbing works and
ideally be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of all Electrical systems and demonstrate ability to work on own initiative. Further tasks and responsibilities will include -
*Solve complicated technical problems associated with minor works activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.
*Accurate completion and timely submission of company documentation (Hard copy or electronic) and signed off as required.
*Produce clear and concise reporting for the Client through the Engineering Manager.
*Be responsible for completing permits to works and supervising contractors when on site.
*Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered.
*Have the ability to meet with a variety of Clients to represent the Company and remain courteous and professional in your dealings at all times.
Candidates should have a formal electrical qualification, ideally 18th Edition, you should also have -
*Joinery and Plumbing experience
*Experience in Electrical installation works for commercial and industrial installations.
*Registered CSCS/CSR Card or equivalent skill card.
*Experience in planned & reactive maintenance.
*Clean Drivers Licence.
*Competent at office software (word, excel, power point etc.)
