There are several full-time contract opportunities available in Stourbridge if you're a Psychiatric Support Worker with specialist experience and an in-depth understanding of the recovery principles in mental health, and knowledge of working with autism and ADHD.

The successful support worker candidate will earn £10 per hour and enjoy a competitive package, flexible working hours and an inclusive working environment.

With our client's unique approach to mental health support work, your Psychiatric Support Worker full-time job will involve you working with their wider support network; healthcare professionals and their family members to support them with independent living, all within a familiar and comfortable home environment.

You're working flexible hours through the week, evenings and weekends.

What's most important is that you bring a sense of care and empathy into work with you every day in your role as a care assistant or support worker.

What you'll need to bring for this Psychiatric Support Worker role:

  • Have experience providing care to vulnerable adults, in either a residential or domiciliary setting, and can provide up to date and satisfactory references
  • A deep understanding of the recovery principles in mental health, and experience of working with autism and ADHD
  • Experience of working in a social care or residential environment to include facilitating the development of personal care skills and the preparation of meals
  • Willingness to complete the induction programme and our care certificate
