A fantastic opportunity has come up with a growing media platform to handle some new business development work to grow their advertising presence. Working within the sales team, you would be tasked with generating new business in the North/North East of Scotland where the brand already has some great presence.
Candidates do not necessarily need to be from the industry but an understanding of Sales, new business and a general interest would be highly advantageous.
The key duties will cover:
* Build a knowledge of the local market
* Make contact with prospective clients
* Carry out meetings to run through the offering
* Run through the complete sales cycle to close business based on customer needs
* Liaise with internal teams to manage delivery
* Relationship management where applicable for future business
As this role is covering the North/North East of Scotland you would ideally be based in the area, other key areas of consideration would include:
* Experience in a B2B sales environment
* Desire to learn and develop
* Interested in the fields of media/advertising
* Effective communicator - written and verbal
* Industry Experience (Not essential)
