My client, a longstanding firm in south-west London are recruiting for a matrimonial lawyer. The firm are looking to cover the workload of a partner in family matrimonial work who will be retiring. this is a very important hire for the firm and they have just secured brand new premises in this affluent area.

The main focus of the role that the firm would like to really prioritise is the private funded divorce and finance caseload that they have ongoing. You will need to have experience in mid - high net worth family law matters. The caseload is purely focussing on the divorce and ancillary relief work, which they have an abundance of. There is also some litigation work which is available for you to take on should you like to.

The firm is a very happy ship of genuine and charismatic people. They do not recruit often at all and extremely rarely have anyone leave. They are looking for a like minded and sociable person to add to the team, someone who has very strong people skills and is looking to settle in long term. Perhaps you might have partnership aspirations and this is certainly something they will consider as one partner is retiring and the other is changing to part time hours.

This is a small but very friendly high street firm with good quality work - they are looking for someone who is commercially minded enough to pick up on the vast opportunity with the firm's client base which is very much there to be optimised.
