Marketing Executive
Location: Harrogate
Salary: Circa £30,000

Do you have experience of using Adobe Cloud Software, including In-Design and Illustrator?

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Marketing Executive to work for our client a National company supplying a range of products to the healthcare industry based in Harrogate.

You will support the Marketing Manager and assist in the strategic development and execution of the company's marketing objectives.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

* Developing and producing catalogue content, product flyers and brochures
* Liaising with manufacturers on the phone or email for product information and images
* Maintaining the product image library
* Organising if necessary product photoshoots
*Liaison with external designers on catalogue product / design
* Co-ordinating and writing press releases
* Maintain the companies websites (uploading new products, editing, news stories, maintaining up to date information)
* Assisting with the monthly promotional offers
* Assist with direct marketing campaigns including eshots
* Assisting with ensuring company branding is correct on product labelling and own label goods
* Maintain company social media, blog site and eNewsletter
* Duties to achieve and maintain ISO 9000 accreditation
* To adhere to the company procedures
* To undertake company protocols to ensure compliance with procedures and standards. This includes telephone, e-mail, face to face customer liaison, internal and external communications
* Build and develop relationships with existing and potential customers and suppliers
* Promote and develop specific initiatives and areas to continually drive and improve the performance of the company
* Promote a teamwork approach where benefits to delivery can be achieved
* Attend and positively contribute to meetings as required
* Manage your performance through effective monitoring of marketing strategies, performance appraisals, development and training, and ensure that appropriate resources are in place to meet the needs of the service and accurately report information to the Operations Manager
* Ensure departments are consulted, supported and motivated effectively in order to achieve operational and strategic objectives and targets of the company
* To assist in covering the workload in the absence of staff
*The post holder is required to accurately use Word, Excel, e-mail, and Sage 200
* To comply with the company's policies and supporting documentation in relation to Data Protection, Information Security and Confidentiality

Key Skills:

* Expertise in catalogue content and writing
* Knowledge of marketing communications (exhibitions, PR, online and print, advertising) and project management
* Sage 200 systems
* Three to five years proven experience in marketing related role
* Experienced with Adobe Cloud Software including In-Design, Illustrator etc
* Able to effectively communicate with customers, providing a quality service to existing and new customers
* Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
* Is thorough and has high accuracy to ensure work produced is always error-free
* Minimum GCSE qualifications - level A-C English and English Literature
* CIM Qualified
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent telephone manner
* Effective organisation skills
* Work collaboratively in a team environment
