The marine solicitor work will encompass working with people in all parts of the maritime industry - insurers, shipbuilders, owners, charterers, salvors, financiers, and P&I clubs. The Marine Solicitor work will include:
? Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts as well as providing related advice
? Handling claims arising from the damage/loss of cargo in transit
? Working closely with other members of the team as well as other in-house legal teams
Due to the single client focus and the nature of the team, this marine solicitor role will provide greater certainty and flexibility of working hours than run-of-the-mill corporate solicitor jobs.
