Role: Management Accountant (Manufacturing)

Salary: £30-35,000

Search are partnered with a fast-growing financial services business based in Leicester. Following their rapid ascent, they are looking to find an experienced management accountant who will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

P&L Management: Oversee and manage 10+ profit and loss statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, identify trends, variances, and opportunities, and provide insightful recommendations to improve financial performance.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor budgetary performance and provide regular updates on variances.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for each P&L. Communicate financial results and insights to stakeholders clearly and effectively.

Cost Control: Analyse costs and expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement effective cost-control measures without compromising on quality and efficiency.

Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting, increase efficiency, and enhance overall accuracy.

Ideal Skillset:

• CIMA/ACCA OR QBE
• Manufacturing/production Experience 1yr+
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in managing multiple P&L statements is crucial
