Management Accountant

Search Consultancy are delighted to partner with a highly reputable company in Edinburgh to recruit a Management Accountant role on a 12 month FTC basis.

The organisation has a presence in the UK and internationally and has a well-established track record of delivering results within its sector. Due to aspirational growth plans,, this Management Accountant role has been created to help support financial planning, analysis. forecasting, database management and dashboard management.

The role will work closely with the transactional finance team. providing support where necessary in relation to financial controls, monthly management accounts, financial statements and operational KPIs. This is a truly unique and highly sought after role, where the successful candidate will gain exposure to many different internal stakeholder within the business. This role is suited to candidates that are qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ICAS) or QBE.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the role will be responsible for:

• Providing key support to FP&A, forecasting, analysis of cashflow, database management and maintenance.
• Production of the monthly management accounts.
• Collating information that can be used to support financial forecasts and contribute to financial models
• Ensuring that financial models are fit for purpose, accurate and scalable.
• Helping to drive and automate financial and KPI reporting, driving efficiencies and process improvement where applicable.
• Support the transactional finance function where appropriate.
• Undertaking ad hoc projects and initiatives for the CFO and Group FP&A

Key requirements

• Fully qualified accountant status (ACCA/CIMA/ICAS) or QBE
• Commercially orientated, outgoing, a team player, naturally inquisitive and analytic
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
• A desire to work with various stakeholders across the business

Salary for this role will be within the range of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum plus additional company benefits and car allowance
