Management Accountant - Up to £47,000 + Exvcellent Benefits Package - Permanent - Manchester - Hybrid/Flexible working

Working in partnership with Search, due togrowth an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a PE backed Technology organisation based in Manchester.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of Management Accounting and be studying towards a professional qualification CIMA/ACCA. Candidates will have previous experience of working in a busy shared service centre or a large organisation were you've been involved with transformation projects and start ups

Role Summary:

Key to this role is ensuring close processes are performed accurately, efficiently and promptly for the multiple business under the remit of each R2R Accountant. This role will also be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording of all transactions, working with business leaders to ensure results and drivers of performance are understood, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and application of financial controls according to group standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing the monthly accounting close in line with the standard Group close calendar
• Preparation of weekly cash flow forecasts and updating the full year forecast monthly
• Manage reporting for various portfolio businesses concurrently
• Participating in strategic continuous improvement initiatives in the organization
• Continuously seeking opportunities to improve financial processes
• Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts

Key skills required

• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Qualified or part-qual Accountant
