Overview of role:

Reporting to the maintenance supervisor, the Maintenance Electrical Engineer will be responsible for supporting production and the continued running of the plant, by carrying out reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks.

Description of Duties & Responsibilities:

A proactive approach to upgrading/improving plant and machinery.

Work in conjunction with Production in efficiently completing all necessary maintenance and changeover activities within agreed timeframes.

Ensure Preventative Maintenance is carried out on plant equipment as required in a safe manner.

Diagnose and fault find electrical equipment failures.

Carry out tasks in accordance with all company policies and procedures.

Work in and maintain a working environment with a high standard of housekeeping.

Correctly use and maintenance of P.P.E..

Use and maintain tooling in accordance to working specifications and conditions.

Report and assist in the analysis of incidents or potential hazards.

Complete reports of performed work tasks on CMMS to relay such information to the Maintenance Technical Group.

Ability to follow written isolation procedures involving multiple points of isolation to control hazardous energy.



Technical Skills:

Time served Electrical apprenticeship.

Ability to read electrical drawings an advantage although training can be provided.
