Legal Secretary- Family Department

I am current looking for a Secretary to join a well known Legal organisation based in York on a permanent basis in their family department.

Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing correspondence and documents through audio and copy typing
Opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files in accordance with the detailed procedures
To prepare mail and enclosures for despatch
To make appointments, arrange meetings, book meeting rooms and to maintain an up to date diary for the Legal Advisor
Providing support and guidence to other secretaries as required
Dealing with client enquiries over the telephone and in person
To ensure all telephone are dealt with promptly
Preparation of trial and disclosure benefits
Key Skills Required
* Experience of working within family ideal but not essential
* Must be flexible and proactive
* Able to multi talk and prioritise workload
* Professional and a confident communicator
* Able to work under pressure in a client facing role
* Excellent typing skills
* Good attention to detail
