Legal Counsel, Leading Utilities Organisation
(4 PQE+)

Our client is a leading utilities company in the South East. They are looking for an experienced (4PQE+) commercial solicitor to join their in-house legal team located just outside London in their Kent based offices. This is an expanding organisation serving more than two million customers across the South East, they are modern and forward thinking people who consider caring for their customers and employees to be tantamount to none. Expert legal counsel will be required to support various business functions and projects. A solid grounding and experience in IT contracts, Procurement Law for Utilities is highly sought after for this position. Further experience in the following will be advantageous: Data Protection, Environmental law, Construction Law (in particular NEC3 and NEC4 contracts). Examples of typical duties will be to draft, review and advise on commercial contracts across a variety of business areas and document types; to advise on broader commercial matters facing the business, management of commercial litigation and disputes resolution, complaints & claims response; training of various departments across regulatory/compliance matters as required.
