We're excited to be working with a leading, international IT services company looking to recruit a full-time Legal Counsel for its friendly, inclusive team in West Sussex. This is a challenging, rewarding role for a bright, ambitious solicitor looking for career progression opportunities and a competitive salary of £55,000.
The Legal Counsel role:
As a Legal Counsel based in Sussex, you'll be passionate about all things legal. You will have substantial legal experience from working in busy law firms to draw from, IT sector-specific experience is not a must but would be beneficial. You can expect to do a mixture of office working and working from home. The salary pays £55,000.
With a group turnover in the £100-millions, you can expect to be working on a range of dynamic commercial matters every day. Working within a collaborative team, you'll deal with a variety of commercial contracts for the entire business - with you as the first port of call. It promises to be a varied, challenging and engaging role. You will also be working directly with business partners, giving advice and answering questions.
The Legal Counsel work will include:
? Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, as well as providing related advice.
? Taking full ownership of contracts, with support from in-house teams and mentors.
? Working closely with other members of the team and other in-house legal teams.
Requirements of the role:
As a pragmatic and solution-focussed lawyer, you'll have a minimum of 3PQE and maybe working in-house or in private practice already, ideally, you will have a tech-savvy background.
