Legal Administrator

Location: Glasgow

Hours of work: 9am to 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)

Salary: £20,000 - £23,500 DOE

Experience: Legal/Administration/lawyers/Reception

What the role will require you to do…

• Composing e-mails & letters to clients
• Monitoring both individual & general Microsoft mailboxes
• Invoicing/billing
• Answering phones and taking messages
• Welcome clients and provide refreshments
• Booking travel/accommodation when required on an online booking system
• Diary management
• Some copy and audio typing of correspondence and patent specifications
• Assisting various attorneys to meet deadlines
• Online filing at European Patent Office, UK Intellectual Property Office and WIPO
• Citation reporting
• Document/file management
• Information disclosure statements
• Web searches
• Dealing with expenses to ensure accurate and timely payment is made.
• Ordering couriers for postal items using online booking system
• Using external client systems
• Using Electronic Filing System

• Must be able to use own initiative
• Must be comfortable communicating with people from all backgrounds and skill levels via e-mail and phone
• Excellent time management
• Able to prioritise workload and work to timescales
• Ability to work proactively and multitask
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Good listener
