Learning & Development Officer - up to £25,000 - Telford
Our client is a market leading organisation who are experiencing a period of acquisition and growth. Due to this they are now looking for an experienced and ideally qualified Leaning and Development Officer or Training Officer to support a key operational site in Telford.
This fantastic L&D Officer role will involve both designing and delivering key training interventions as well as evaluating training sessions and materials to ensure training objectives are being met.
A key element to this role will be to deliver induction training to all new starters. As our client has a high number of telephony based staff this will include elements of both customer service training as well as technical/systems training. Any experience of training staff from within a call centre environment would thus be a benefit.
Your role as Learning & Development Officer will also include creating and maintaining training materials as well as ensuring that all training sessions and set up and prepared well, ready for delegates to attend.
You'll also help to maintain training record and ensure that key management information relating to training is accurately stored and can be drawn upon easily.
There will also be ongoing training of existing staff to partake in which could include behavioural and soft skill sessions as well as some support for managers on development.
To be successful in this role you'll need to have strong delivery and to a degree design skills in training and be an excellent facilitator. It goes without say that you'll be an excellent communicator with the ability to listen and coach. You need fantastic planning and organisation skills too with a flexible and team-focused work ethic.
