TECH LEAD - Service Management - Service Delivery Management

TECH LEAD - Service Management Analysis - Service Delivery Management, Service Transition Management, engaging with stakeholders, reporting, understand IT support but non-Tech role

This is the chance to help build out a key operations function ultimately will have 400 + Applications to support. You will get to create best practice, use ITIL, have autonomy on how this is delivered and goals hit but with your division manager's full support and help.

You will be migrating support into this new team that will grow around you. You will also work on large integration project.

This role is PRO-ACTIVE PROJECT WORK focused with limited BAU thought this will of course evolve over the 2 year period.

You will:

  • Will have an Finance Sector background and ideally investments

  • UnderstandFS platforms and if you have experience of or understand investment platforms even better (MEDM,IDM,CRIMS,EDH,IDP)
    • you get what the business needs from the platforms or have the engagement skills to get that from the business stakeholders

  • Strong engagement skills, take a customer focused approach, able to work collaboratively with Stakeholders of varied levels and get buy in

  • Ability to create an effective support team or experience in creating an effective support team

  • Service Design experience or skills to work on Service Design

  • Risk assessment by pulling on SME around you within your area on how change can impact service and take steps to avoid

  • Really understand and want to work with

  • Build outs in Ops Sector
  • Big picture on platforms and applications (different types) within FS
  • Manage 3rd party suppliers
  • Do due diligence on their proposals to ensure they are fit for purpose

  • Held roles focussed on Service Delivery or Service Transition or Problem Management

  • Enjoy taking ownership of your area, implementing best practice processes, using ITIL, leading from the front

  • Natural problem solver

Desirable to:

  • Have come from a support background in the past

  • Have application support experience

  • Have worked with application support or Batch in the past
