I am currently partnering a leading business based in Preston to recruit a L&D Business Partner, this is a permanent position paying upto £50,000 plus a generous car allowance
This is an exciting new opportunity that will support various sites across the UK. The role includes working with the Head of HR and HRBP's to deliver a value added L&D proposition into the business. This role will include working close with the HR Team to design and deliver a L&D strategy that is fit for purpose and develops the capability of people managers, including the design and delivery of a management development programme. Additional responsibilities will also include working with the HR Team to deliver training, managing the apprenticeship levy and working with external training providers to deliver leadership training. Summary of Responsibilities
As a member of the senior leadership team you will be working alongside the Head of HR and the wider HR Team which includes the HRBPs and Senior Managers
You will be tasked with delivering measurable performance improvements within our people managers teams.
The key to success in this job lies in your personal leadership style as well as your ability to design and delivery various learning strategies and programmes. You will be a strong L&D professional who has ability to inspire and engage individuals in a training environment. Travel to various sites across the UK is essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a career defining move as you will be given full autonomy and accountability to shape the L&D proposition. You'll also have the opportunity to review the current E Learning platform with a view to rolling out across the wider business, along with delivering a leadership and management development programme. The apprenticeship levy is currently not utilised so a large part of this role will be working with external providers to develop our people capability.
Our ideal candidate will be a strong L&D professional who has previously designed and delivered L&D strategies and carried out evaluation on various L&D initiatives. This is a stand alone role which requires a self starter who is motivated and driven and can work at pace in a pressurised environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
*CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
*Full and valid driving licence
*Ability to travel and work away from home
*Previous experience of delivering L&D strategies and initiatives
*Experience of managing an apprenticeship levy and working with external providers
*Previous strong experience of delivering management and leadership development programmes.
*Previous experience of working with HRBPs/HRMs to deliver various HR workshops
