Are you an HR professional looking to specialise in learning and development? This may be the perfect role! This company due to exciting growth plans in 2020 and beyond are looking to expand their team and ensure that the head office is the centre for excellence for all training throughout the business. This is a permanent, full time role and the real opportunity to make the role your own working alongside a dynamic and friendly HR team based on the outskirts of Edinburgh city centre.

This role offers autonomy and the opportunity to grow your career as you grow the L + D function and you will be responsible in designing and delivering training across the whole business helping staff develop their skills and for the business to flourish. You will liaise with managers across the business to ensure the training is effective and pin point problem areas that training is needed. Autonomy is a big part of the role and you develop in house training on all areas of the company embracing all types of training styles as well as ensuring within that any external training schemes are cost effective and within budget. This forward thinking company are open to using technology in order to train and and you will decide how the whole L+D function grows across the business and how all training will be done.

In order to be successful in applying for this role you do not necessarily need loads of experience within L+D, but with a great grasp of HR and L+D and a real passion for delivering high quality training. You will have knowledge of training systems and a keen interested in what is new to the realm. Great communication, presenting skills and the confidence to communicate and maintain relationships at all levels is a must. You will have support from a friendly HR manager who has a strong background in Learning and Development who will be their to mentor and guide you throughout.
