We are currently looking for hard working housekeepers and Kitchen Assistants available for an immediate start around the Horsham and Guildford area within the Care & Hospital sectors. Due to the locations of work own transport is essential and a current enhanced DBS within the last 12months or on the update system.
Working within Hospitals you will ensure the highest levels of cleanliness are adhered to and maintain infection control measures at the Hospital and Care Homes. This role is ideal for an individual who has a caring nature and outgoing personality as you will be working on the wards.
The housekeeping and Kitchen Assistant roles pays £9ph weekdays with enhanced weekend rates for some clients, previous experience within kitchen or housekeeping is required to ensure the high standards expected are maintained.
As a housekeeper you will be responsible for day to day cleaning of the wards and corridors ensuring all touch points are sanitised to the client's specifications as well as deep cleaning of all areas including bathroom/toilets and beds.
Kitchen Assistants are required to assist the chef with basic food preparation and ensuring the Kitchen is kept spotless and all cutlery and crockery is cleaned and stored away.
Search will ensure all compliance and training is completed but if you hold valid Food Hygiene & Allergen as well as Infection Control certificates this would be advantageous.
As part of the Housekeeping or Kitchen team you will be playing an essential role in ensuring the standards are upheld and the smooth running of the Hospital.
