Junior Sous Chef - up to 25k
I'm looking for a talented junior sous chef to join a great brigade of chefs in a stunning 4* hotel. You will be helping to manage the team and food production in a large and well equipped kitchen.
Working with fresh food, all locally sourced from top suppliers, with a seasonal menu, and a large offering from afternoon tea's to A la Carte menus this is the ideal position for someone looking to have an input on dishes and really push themselves in a challenging and busy hotel operation.
You must be able to confidently run all sections of the kitchen, help the sous and head chef manage the junior members of the team and have a good understanding of daily kitchen procedures, HACCP and a great all round knowledge of food.
The hotel is situated in central Harrogate and is a short walk from the train station, you will be working mostly split shifts at an average of 45 hours per week.
