Junior Sous Chef - Hotel - Michelin Star - Chippenham - £27,000
We are currently looking for a Junior Sous Chef for this Michelin starred 14th century hotel and golf club in rural Wiltshire.
The ideal candidate will come from a similar background with exposure to a variety of cooking styles and a progressive work history, 3AA Rosette experience is definitely preferred but not essential - although you must be able to demonstrate excellent preparation and presentation skill.
Along side the one Michelin starred restaurant, there is an additional restaurant, wedding and events, afternoon teas and private dining, plus a 48 bedroom hotel and award winning golf course, so you need to be on the ball and have a flexible attitude. Working along side the senior team here you must have the ability to train, coach enthuse and develop your team whilst maintaining the highest standards
You will be involved in the development of new dishes and menus, so will have creative flair and an eye for detail. Responsible for the smooth day to day running of the kitchen in the absence of the sous chef, you will be resourceful and approachable.
You MUST ensure food and hygiene standards are kept high. HACCP and COSHH requirements must also be met.
Working 5 days out of 7, the position is paying up to £27,000 per annum plus an excellent company incentive and benefit scheme.
