This stunning site on the glorious Island of Guernsey are looking for a strong senior sous chef to over see the day to day running of this restaurant situated right on the beach with views to die for.
This is one of the few fine dinning restaurants on the island so quality and consistency of the offering are key. You will be part a brigade of 6 and reporting directly to the Sous Chef and group executive chef. There is of course the day to day compliance, HACCP & COSHH to deal with along with ensuring junior staff members are supervised, trained and mentored.
Working in this state of the art kitchen with the finest ingredients you will be capable of producing top quality dishes for up to 100 ala carte covers. There is a seasonally changing ala carte menu and a weekly changing set lunch and set dinner menu so plenty of variety on offer.
The role is paying in the region of £26,000pa with tips averaging £100 per week! Live in accommodation is available and you will be provided with meals whilst on duty.
This really is a fantastic role in a wonderful location - a 40min flight from London but a million miles away from the UK.
