Junior Sous Chef - Country House Hotel - Midhurst - Live in - £25,000pa
This fantastic 21 bedroom country house hotel are looking to add a strong junior to this team of 7.
Everything here is made fresh on-site across the kitchen and pastry kitchen (except the cheese biscuits!), all meat is Sussex sourced and the menu changes every 6 to 8 weeks. The food offering here is sensational.
Exclusive use weddings and events are also a big part of the business here, all live plated, so some banqueting experience is going to be helpful!
The ideal candidate will come from a similar background with exposure to a variety of cooking styles and a progressive work history, a quality fresh food background is key. You will play a part in developing junior members of staff whilst making sure standards don't slip!!
You will also be involved in creating new menus, adapting dishes and play a real part in the identity of this kitchen moving forward.
The position is paying up to £25,000 per annum plus tips, accommodation is an option if required.
Working 5 day out of 7, this role is all straight shifts across a 48 hour week
